My name is Rashenka De Silva and I’m currently in my fourth year of study at the University of Windsor pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation I would like to continue my education to pursue a Law degree.

Apart from my focus on studies, I have played many other roles within the University and the Windsor community. I am currently the President of the Business International Students’ Club at the Odette School of Business and also the Vice President of the International Students Society. By organizing various educational and recreational activities and acting as a link between the students and the university, I have been able to gather invaluable experience. These experiences have helped me to grow into a strong leader and a dedicated individual.

I worked for HSBC for a year as a customer service representative and a team leader. At an early age I held a trainer position which gave me the opportunity to migrate a foreign currency process to India. My past work experience has given me strong managerial and administrative skills which can be directly applied to the tasks that will be required in the Centre for Business Advancement and Research.

I believe that my involvement in the university and the community and also past work experience have prepared me in many ways for the tasks required for the CBAR course. I am eager and anticipate the experience to work with CBAR clients towards a mutually beneficial result.
