My Name is Nneka Egejuru. I was born and raised in Lagos Nigeria, and moved to Windsor in 2007 to obtain an undergraduate degree. I am currently in my fourth year of the Bachelor of Commerce program with a concentration in finance. I am also enrolled in the co-op program and have successfully completed three work terms. Throughout my journey here at the University of Windsor, I have been involved with a number of groups and organizations on and off campus in order to achieve a well-rounded educational experience. I am currently the VP of Finance at the Odette marketing Association and the business student mentor for the Nigerian Students’ Association. In the past I have held positions such as the business representative at the University of Windsor Students’ Alliance, where I was the elected spokesperson for all full-time undergraduate business students. 

 My passion for the investments industry led me to a position with the Investment manager Research team at RBC Global Asset Management, where I aided the team in conducting research and assessing the performance of various money managers for our High-Net-Worth platform.  I have also successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC). I am currently enrolled in the CFA program and look forward to completing the first of three exams at the end of the year. Off campus, I engage in a number of philanthropic activities for various causes, and am dedicated to giving back to the community in any way possible.  I am enthusiastic in seeking and learning about new opportunities and look forward to gaining a practical educational experience from CBAR, which I know will definitely come as an advantage for me in the future.

 My long term goal is to be an entrepreneur in the field of wealth management, and I hope to start up this firm and an accompanying philanthropic foundation for underprivileged children in Lagos Nigeria.
