My name is Jim Gorski and I grew up near Amherstburg, Ontario. I have completed my Honours Business Administration degree at the University of Windsor and I am currently enrolled as an MBA Candidate at the same institution. During my undergraduate I completed 2 concentrations in Management/Labour Studies and Management Science and a minor in Psychology. For my MBA program I am currently doing project work for Crayola Canada and I will be specializing in Winery Marketing. From working outside of school I have had the opportunity to gain experience with recruitment, training, planning, logistics, billing, payroll, safety, IT, marketing and a variety of other areas. I was able to gain a well-rounded perspective when I was employed in different departments of an international trucking company, Gorski Bulk Transport. I have gained experience with a start-up vineyard and winery in the Lake Erie North Shore region, CREW (Colchester Ridge Estate Winery). I have also had course placements working with HR Information Systems at The Kidney Foundation of Canada and evaluation of training at Leamington District Memorial Hospital. These experiences have allowed me to develop leadership, problem solving and critical thinking skills through the variety of projects I have supported.

In addition to work and school I have been actively involved with the Delta Chi Fraternity where  I have been able to participate with a highly diverse group and further my understanding of organizational politics and communication patterns. For the 2009-2010 school year I was elected to an executive position, Alumni Relations Officer, and I was also the chairman of the Scholarship Committee. Delta Chi Fraternity is a values-based organization and I seek to maintain our 4 values (Friendship, Character, Justice and Education) in everything I do for Delta Chi. I believe my commitment to these positions is exemplary of how I embrace and support the values of the organizations I am involved with.
