Hi,

My name is Sarim and I am a fourth year business student at the University of Windsor. I am a transfer student from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, where I was enrolled in the Bachelors of Business Administration (Honors) program.  I developed a passion for finance during my high school years and have gained substantial financial knowledge over the course of my undergraduate studies. I am currently registered for my Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) and after completing school I intend to pursue CFA designation along with an MBA.

I have been involved in organizing various seminars on financial topics such as Bonds markets, Mutual funds and Insurance. I am currently the Vice President Finance of SIFE Windsor where responsibilities include Internal Control and Project Fund Management. I have experience working with the Corporate Treasury department of ICI Pakistan Limited where I was exposed to financial control and planning. As a Live Review Specialist at Softech Limited I gained experience in quality assurance. I am an avid reader with particular interests in history and physics.

It is very important for me to work with a vision coupled with a sound strategy to achieve my goals and objectives. I have firm belief that if you don’t know where you are going, any road will take you there. My knowledge, experience and vision that I bring to CBAR are reflective of this mantra.
