Hello All,

My name is name is David Assam. In May 2003, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana, Legon. This opened up a variety of options for me to further my studies. After five years working in the marketing field, I decided to obtain my post graduate degree. I am currently pursuing an MBA degree from the Odette School of Business, University of Windsor and will be graduating by December 2009.

I am currently in my final semester of studies in the university and will be focusing in finance and consulting. I also  plan on getting the Chartered Financial Analyst designation soon after my graduation. My work experience coupled with my education background, I believe, will be an asset to the CBAR program. After completing my undergraduate degree I worked as a marketing representative for an export company in Ghana, and was also the Marketing Manager for a Production company helping to grow, maintain and increase account sales for these companies. 

Furthermore, at the University of Windsor I have had the opportunity to work within a consulting team for a corporate partner, Drive Logistics, and also as a research assistant in management and research, which have equipped  me with the necessary skills for CBAR.

I believe the CBAR program will provide me with additional experience within the business world, and help hone my skills for business consulting. I am highly self motivated and thrive on obtaining positive results. Overall, with the combination of all these assets I hope to exploit them and make a positive contribution to CBAR.
