My name is Blake Sutter and I am a 2nd year student in the 2 year MBA Co-op program at the Odette School of Business (University of Windsor). My focus area is finance and I completed the Canadian Securities Course this summer. I plan on starting the Chartered Financial Analyst designation this winter. My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy from the University of Calgary, which I completed in 2005.

Over the past few years I have added some interesting work experience to my resume that I believe will help me be an asset to the CBAR program. After completing my undergraduate degree I worked as a marketing co-ordinator in a North American Studies Center in Guadalajara, Mexico. I also spent time working as a Consultant for VRV Global in Calgary, Alberta assisting oil and service (restaurants, retail etc.) companies in meeting their employment needs and transferring workers to and from international destinations.

At the University of Windsor I have had the opportunity to work as a Graduate Assistant for a corporate finance course and complete my first co-op work term as a Strategic Planning Analyst with Ford of Canada in Oakville. Growing up on a family farm has given me an understanding of some of the challenges and opportunities associated with small business ownership.

I believe CBAR will give me hands-on experience in the business world, specifically business consulting. I hope that my knowledge and skills will be a benefit to the clients of CBAR and the visions of the CBAR program.
