My name is Alec Lauzière. I am a student of the Odette School of Business’ Honours BCOMM Business and Computer Science program.

I was chosen to represent the Odette School of Business and the University of Windsor at Colorado State University’s Venture Adventure Business Plan Competition in Fort Collins, Colorado in the spring of 2007. I was also selected for the position of Teaching Assistant for the inaugural semester of a new business course offering this year.

I am currently working on a business plan with which I will be competing at several events this coming semester and am a member of the University of Windsor’s Finance Club.

I have extensive work experience in various fields, including customer service, proprietary equity trading and consulting, with my most recent position being that of Systems Consultant for Big Brothers Big Sisters Windsor Essex. I have also worked as a consultant and advisor to the management team of a social networking startup and have volunteer experience with several local firms, most notably Big Brothers Big Sisters Windsor Essex and Ecole Monseigneur Augustin Caron. I am currently working on a casual basis as an IT Consultant for a small, locally based non-profit organization.

I look forward to making full use of the skills I’ve developed throughout my university career in order to capitalize on the opportunities that the CBAR project presents.
